Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Neutrino Pty Ltd collects personal information to run the consultancy: diagnose operational problems, book and deliver assessments, and (if you choose) quote and build fixed-scope work. We collect information in the following ways:

• Scorecard: answers you submit on the Operations Readiness Scorecard, plus the contact details you optionally leave for results or a follow-up.
• Get updates list: name and email if you ask to hear about pioneer slots or other Neutrino updates.
• Spark: questions and context you type into Spark, used to give you a useful reply and to improve that tool.
• Assessment booking and payment: name, email, phone, business details, and scheduling information when you book a Discovery & Opportunities Assessment. Paid assessments are processed by Stripe; we receive payment status, not your full card number.
• Call notes and Opportunities Report: notes from the discovery call and the written report we send you, plus any files you share so we can do the work.
• Authentication (optional): if you sign in, we collect your name and email via Firebase. Client-facing sign-in uses Google, GitHub, or Microsoft. Email and password are also available.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver the scorecard, Spark replies, assessments, and fixed-price builds
• Process assessment payments and send the Opportunities Report
• Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
• Send updates you asked for (you can opt out at any time)
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• With your consent: we share information when you explicitly authorize us to do so (for example a written testimonial you approve for publication).
• With service providers: Firebase (authentication), Stripe (payments), Cal.com (scheduling), hosting and email providers needed to run the consultancy.
• For legal reasons: we may share information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

Ideas Network (a planned maker community) is not live. We do not currently run a makers marketplace, and we do not share your information with marketplace collaborators.

4. Data Storage and Security

We take the security of your data seriously. Your information is stored securely using industry-standard practices:

• All data is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS
• Database access is restricted and authenticated
• File uploads are stored securely with access control
• We regularly review and update our security measures
• Payment information is processed through PCI-compliant payment providers

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access and correction: email privacy@neutrino.au to review or correct what we hold.
• Deletion: you may request deletion of your data. Email privacy@neutrino.au. Full details: Data deletion & your account.
• Retention: we may retain certain records where required or permitted by Australian law (for example tax, fraud prevention, or legal disputes).
• Data portability: you can request a copy of your data in a portable format.
• Opt-out: you can opt out of marketing communications at any time.

6. Cookies, Tracking and Analytics

We measure how people use our site (pages visited, funnel steps, rough location) so we can improve Neutrino. We do not use analytics to name or identify cold visitors. We do not use advertising cookies. There is no cookie preferences banner or consent modal on this site.

• Essential: session authentication and security tokens needed for signed-in features.
• First-party anonymous analytics: we record page paths, funnel steps, scroll depth, and similar behavioural signals on our own servers. Events use a short-lived tab session id and a first-party anonymous visitor cookie (si_vid, about 7 days) so we can recognise the same browser across visits — not your name or email. We may store a coarse location (country, region, and city) derived from network edge headers; we do not store your raw IP address. This data is retained for about 90 days.
• Warm-lead attribution (after you open a personalised link): if we met you in person or otherwise and send you a follow-up SMS or email with a Neutrino link, opening that link may set a first-party cookie (si_warm_lead, about 90 days) so we can see your return journey in our CRM for that outreach. Cold visitors who never open such a link are not linked to a contact record this way.
• Pioneer invite (after you open an invite link or opt in): opening a Neutrino pioneer invite link, or choosing the start-page pioneer opt-in, may set a first-party cookie (si_pioneer_invite, about 90 days) so we can show the testimonial-exchange path and attribute that session. Cold visitors who never open an invite or opt in are not given this cookie.
• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity: these run on the public site for richer usage metrics and session recordings. They set cookies and send data to servers in the United States (Google LLC and Microsoft Corporation). GA4 is configured with IP anonymisation enabled and advertising signals disabled. Clarity masks form inputs by default. Neither tool receives your name, email, or phone from us.
• Platform performance: Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights collect aggregated performance metrics (Core Web Vitals, page load times). These do not set persistent cookies and do not identify individual visitors. Data is processed by Vercel Inc. in the United States.

7. Third-Party Services

The consultancy uses the following third-party services:

• Authentication: Firebase Authentication — Google, GitHub, and Microsoft where sign-in is used
• Payments: Stripe for paid assessment checkout
• Scheduling: Cal.com for assessment booking
• File storage: Google Cloud Storage where files are uploaded
• AI services: model providers used by Spark and internal drafting
• Database: Neon for PostgreSQL hosting
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 — Google Privacy Policy
• Session recordings: Microsoft Clarity — Microsoft Privacy Statement

Each service has its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them.

8. Children's Privacy

Neutrino is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this privacy policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
