The Two-Week Fix: terms in plain English

Last updated: 14 October 2026

These terms cover The Two-Week Fix builds by Neutrino (Mark Lewis, ABN 25 784 969 604). They sit alongside the Consultancy Client Agreement, which governs the detail. If anything here conflicts with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, the law wins.

1. The free call and the free working sample

The 30-minute call and the working sample are free. There's no obligation to go ahead, and nothing is owed if you don't.

The working sample runs on demo data, never your live data. It shows the shape of the fix so you can judge it. It's a preview, not the product, and it stays with me. The product is the paid build.

2. Scope

The Two-Week Fix fixes one process. Before any work starts, we agree in writing what the build will do, what it connects to, what data it's set up with, the price and the handover date. That written scope is what the guarantee and the on-time promise are measured against.

Changes to the scope after we agree it are quoted separately, in writing, before I do them.

3. Price and payments

Builds are a fixed price, from $2,500. The price is agreed in writing before I start and doesn't change unless you ask for a change to the scope. GST not applicable.

You pay 50% to start and 50% on handover.

4. The guarantee

You see a working sample before you pay a cent. Once we agree the scope in writing, if what I hand over doesn't do what we agreed, I keep working on it at no extra cost until it does. If I still can't make it work, I refund everything you've paid.

This doesn't limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. How a refund works

If what I hand over doesn't do what we agreed in the written scope, tell me in writing (email is fine) what it isn't doing. I'll keep working on it at no extra cost until it does.

If I still can't make it do what we agreed, I refund everything you've paid for that build to your original payment method.

6. The on-time promise

Your handover date is agreed in writing before I start. If I'm late because of me, you get 10% off the second payment.

7. What counts as a delay caused by you

The on-time promise doesn't apply to time spent waiting on you. That means time between when I ask for something I need to keep building and when I receive it, including:

  • information about how the job works today, or answers to questions about the scope;
  • access to systems, accounts, data exports or files;
  • feedback or sign-off on a working version;
  • a change to the scope you ask for after we've agreed it.

When that happens, the handover date moves by the same number of business days, and I'll tell you in writing when it does.

8. Your licence and your data

Your data is always yours. When the build is paid for, you get a perpetual, irrevocable licence to use and modify your system. Nothing locks you in.

9. Building blocks I keep

I keep the building blocks I reuse across clients: general-purpose components, templates and tools that aren't specific to your business. That's a big part of how I can build it from $2,500. Your licence covers them as part of your system.

10. Full source-code ownership (add-on)

If you need the source code outright, full ownership is available as a paid add-on at 2 × the build price, agreed in writing before work starts.

11. Fixes after handover

For 60 days after handover I fix anything that doesn't do what we agreed, at no cost.

A fix is anything that doesn't do what the written scope says. A change is anything new.

12. The support and hosting plan (optional)

$149 / month: hosting, backups, monitoring, fixes, and 1 hour of small changes a month. Anything beyond that is quoted.

Without the support plan, I hand the system over to run on your own accounts, at no extra charge.

13. Running costs

On the support plan, hosting is included. If you host it yourself, you pay your providers directly, and I tell you the expected cost before work starts.
